Peachtree City Elder's Quorum: 2009

We had our first bowling night for the Elder's Quorum. To sum it up in 2 words. We suck. We had 15 guys show up for cosmic bowling night. The pink background on the blog is so that we can all remember Shawn's pink bowling ball. It looked good on him. Randy, the "pro", was the best bowler of the night. The next bowler was only 100 points behind him after two games. Good job Shawn. Herb had the best improvement with a 120% improvement from game one to game two.

David P almost got us kicked out of the bowling alley when he threw a ball down his lane only to hit the guard rail. Jeff had thrown a ball down David's lane to make David get a bad score. So David threw his ball down trying to get as many points as possible but hit the rail instead. The reason that Jeff threw the ball down David's lane is because David grabbed Jeff's hand when Jeff was bowling for a turkey. David messed it up.

On one frame, Matt hit 9 pins. Then when he was going for the spare, he guttered balled it. But he guttered it so hard that it bounced out of the gutter and he got the spare. Randy got two turkeys and finished off the second game with 4 strikes in a row.

It was a great night for all and we vowed that we would do another sometime soon.
